1. Unzip file by using for example WinZip,
Mostly you will find something like this in the unzipped map:
-model
-panel
-sound
-texture
-and some other files
2. Open Windows Explorer (verkenner) and place the maps/ file in your
MS Flight Simulator aircraft directory:
Example: C:\program files\microsoft games\flight simulator 2002\aircraft\(the
map which includes the maps and files mentioned above)
3. Start MS Flight Simulator and open your aircraft

- 2. How to add effects
to a downloaded aircraft?
Add the following to aircraft.cfg of the downloaded aircraft:
[EFFECTS]
wake=fx_wake
water=fx_spray
dirt=fx_tchdrt
concrete=fx_sparks
touchdown=fx_tchdwn_s, 1
Save file to the same name(always make a backup of the original file)
The effects are now added to your aircraft!

3. How to install a downloaded scenery?
For some sceneries: unzip file and run the .exe file
All others mostly:
1. Unzip file by using for example WinZip,
- Mostly you will
find something like this in the unzipped map:
-scenery (mosly .bgl files)
-texture (mosly .bmp files)
-and some other files
- 2. Open Windows Explorer
(verkenner) and place the maps/ files in your MS Flight Simulator scenery
directory:
Example: C:\program files\microsoft games\flight simulator 2002\scenery\(the
map which includes the maps and files mentioned above)
3. Start MS Flight Simulator
Go to this menu: WORLD\SCENERY LIBRARY\ADD AREA
Give the scenery you want to add a name and give it priority one, so
that it will be on top of the list, this is mostly the best thing
to do.
After "ok" it's done; just go to the airport you just installed!

-gauges (mosly .bmp files)
- -sounds
- -and some other files
FS2000\Aircraft\ "aircraft of your choice" \panel
- Open Windows Explorer
(verkenner) and........
- *place the files in the
panel map into the aircraft of your choise:
- Example: C:\program files\microsoft
games\flight simulator 2002\aircraft\"aircraft of your choice"\panel
- *place the files in the
gauge map into your MS Flight Simulator gauge directory:
- Example: C:\program files\microsoft
games\flight simulator 2002\gauges
- *place the files in the
sound map into your MS Flight Simulator sound directory:
- Example: C:\program files\microsoft
games\flight simulator 2002\sounds
- 3. Start MS Flight Simulator
and open the aircraft you have chosen above.

13. What are the differences
between FS2002 and FS2002 Professional?
FS2002 Professional has for extra: four extra aircraft the Cessna 208
Grand Caravan, Raytheon BE58 Baron, Raytheon/Beech King Air 350 and theMooney
Bravo (standard version misses the turboprops model, panels, gauges and
sounds); gMax 3D design program to create aircraft, buildings and other
3d objects.
